We understand that work is to earn a living and not to lose it, for this reason
WE CERTIFY ACCIDENT REDUCTIONS OF MORE THAN 90% IN ALL OUR INTERVENTIONS

If you want to reduce motorcycle accidents in your company to zero, schedule an appointment with our specialists in Occupational Road Safety
No solution to motorcycle accidents? We will reduce your employees' road accidents by up to 90%.
You have been told that the danger of motorcycles has no solution? That if your company's employees use them, you will have serious injuries and even deaths? That motorcyclists are looking for their own problems, so you have to make them aware?
IN SUMMARY: either you resist the use of motorcycles in your company or you bear the consequences. If you want to break with this false dilemma, we will show you how safe and sustainable mobility by motorcycle is possible

AIROBAG is the largest center for innovation in motorcycle safety on the American continent. For more than 17 years we have demonstrated that it is possible to reduce morbidity and mortality among motorcyclists by over 95% in all our interventions, thanks to our approach based on science and technology and leaving behind all the false beliefs about motorcycle road safety that have proven to be a failure.
AIROBAG is the main agent of change in the motorcycle sector in Latin America. We seek to close the technological gap between motorcycling in the region and professional motorcycling, where passive and active safety technologies have proven to be highly effective.
We are the creators of the most successful model of road safety for motorcyclists and pioneers in the development and introduction of vital organ protection systems to the market. We have equipped more than 150,000 motorcycle workers in Latin America with airbag technologies.

We support fleet management and occupational health and safety professionals in developing innovative solutions that ensure the health and productivity of those employees who use a motorcycle as a work tool or simply as a means of transport.
We implement a successful model that has been shown to reduce motorcycle accidents and their consequences by more than 95%, combining prevention actions, which reduce the frequency with which events occur, with mitigation actions, which reduce the severity of their consequences once the events occur.

Occupational Road Safety is a comprehensive approach that enables the identification and management of work-related road risks, in order to minimise morbidity and mortality caused by traffic incidents suffered during journeys made for work or on the occasion of work.
- 04
A Workplace Road Accident is one that a worker suffers during his work day or while traveling from home to work or vice versa, as long as a vehicle in circulation is involved.
There are two types of Work-Related Road Accidents: “on-mission” accidents are those that occur during the working day for work reasons (transport of goods, transport of passengers, representative or commercial trips, etc.) and “in itinere” accidents, which are those that occur on the journey between the worker's home and his or her workplace or vice versa.
- 05
99% of deaths in a motorcycle road accident occur due to trauma to at least one vital organ.
A human being (without adequate protective equipment) who crashes into a solid object at a speed of 18 km/h suffers an instantaneous deceleration exceeding 102 G-forces. This is already a deadly speed.
In Latin America, most motorcycle deaths and serious injuries occur in urban or suburban events, at speeds below 50 km/h and involving low-displacement motorcycles and other vehicles of greater mass.
- 06
In addition to the vulnerability of the human body (recognized by the safety system applied to traffic and Vision Zero), in the case of motorcycles there is a determining technological factor: the total absence of technology installed in the vehicle to protect its occupants, which is usually called passive safety.
The motorcycle does not have a restraint system, airbags or a deformation-controlled chassis to dissipate the energy of the impact, as is often found in a car considered safe by organisations such as Latin NCAP. The level of passive safety of motorcyclists is determined by the quality of the PPE personal protection elements they use.
- 07
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for motorcyclists makes up for the lack of passive safety technology on board the motorcycle. Its certification, through international standards, ensures its quality and suitability.
The best known is the helmet, which serves the purpose of protecting the skull and the brain housed inside it. However , the brain is not the only vital organ housed in the human body and therefore protecting only the head is not enough.
Airbags for motorcyclists represent the greatest innovation since the introduction of the helmet and are the best technology available to protect the rest of the vital organs, located in the thorax and abdomen. Elbow and knee pads prevent injuries, but they do not save lives. The protective elements that save lives are those that cover the vital organs.
- 08
It is a pneumatic system, housed inside certified motorcyclist clothing, such as vests and jackets, which is activated automatically in less than a tenth of a second, absorbing the force of the impact.
The airbag for motorcyclists is able to protect the collarbones, rib cage and vital organs located in the chest and abdomen. In combination with a safe helmet, they also protect the neck.
AIROBAG motorcycle airbags are EN1621-4 certified and reusable.
