Motorcycle protective gear manufacturers should not be trusted if they lack valid certifications under EN-1621 and EN-17092 standards. Many counterfeit or non-certified products circulate on the market that do not guarantee impact absorption or protection of vital organs, significantly increasing the risk of serious injury or death in the event of an accident. 

Currently, there are no European Union-approved certification processes for electronic airbags due to their low reliability and demonstrated critical failures, such as false deployments or non-deployment in accidents. Certifications not recognized as CRITT do not meet the impact absorption requirements of EN-1621-4 and are therefore unreliable.

There are also no valid approvals in the USA, Asia or developing countries for motorcycle airbags; do not be fooled by fake Chinese certifications or Latin American university laboratories.
